Welcome to the Southern Arizona Psychology Internship Consortium!

The 2008-2009 internship year marks the thirteenth year of existence, and the twelfth year of A.P.A. accreditation for the Southern Arizona Psychology Internship Consortium (SAPIC). SAPIC was created in order to provide high-quality training to interns desiring a training experience in a cutting-edge, managed health care community behavioral health care environment. SAPIC is currently based within La Frontera Center, Inc., a large community behavioral health organization serving 15,000+ underserved culturally diverse clients last year.

SAPIC offers interns the opportunity to sharpen their psychotherapeutic skills with a culturally, socioeconomically, and clinically diverse clientele of various ages, in a variety of community settings, with professionals from many disciplines. Such flexibility allows interns an opportunity to meet their training needs, while preparing them to compete in today's complex and changing behavioral health market.
